SARAH GOODERMUTH 

Sarah Goodermuth (she/her) is a Chicago-based multidisciplinary artist. Her practice is informed by her experience navigating medical spaces and bodily sensations of pain and discomfort. She articulates this through forms, materials, colors, and labor-intensive processes that reflect qualities of disease, medicine, and the body. Sarah holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with focus in Sculpture and and Fiber and Material Studies (2023). She likes to keep her hands and mind busy. She likes to look closely. She enjoys hot coffee, picking flowers from the sidewalk, and spending time with her cat, Mr. Billy.
